"I was so surprised when I received this flatware set in the mail. It was even better than I anticipated. I had read all the reviews prior to buying, but still was reticent since I had been looking both on line and in stores for a long time. The weight is perfectly balanced and not too heavy. The way each piece looks, however, is what really blew me away. So classy. So different. I intend to order another set."

"After a long search for a durable, elegant and A+ quality product we bought a Hafnia set and we are more than pleased: very impressed. Sturdy but simply gorgeous, very comfortable to handle. The shine is absolutely stunning even that is brushed stainless. Perfect ! But the description of the aditional pieces as a Serving Set is wrong: they are not a TABLESPOON and a COLD MEAT FORK, the extra pieces are a LARGE SERVE SPOON and LARGE SERVE FORK (same as two of the pieces of the Entertainment Set). Be aware when you get this set it comes with this two wonderful LARGE SERVE SPOON AND FORK, perfect for salads. I have to return the Entertainment Set i bought together with the 42 piece Set because the description of the 42pcs set was wrong about the extra pieces. But i highly recommend Yamazaki Hafnia 42 piece set, that also comes with the wood box, flawless. About the price: Amazon.com have the best deal. Thank you !"

"I was looking for quality stainless steel flatware at a local store and Hafnia was the one style out of twenty that caught my eye. I'm not sure where to place the design stylisticaly. Modern and rustic come to mind. The stainless steel itself has a special beautiful sheen and each piece has a nice solid weight worthy of flatware in this price range and higher. The knives have the makers name etched on the blade and all other pieces have the name stamped on the back of the handle--both very nicely done. Each piece comes individually rapped. The open, compartmentalized, wooden storage tray is of good quality. All pieces are holding up well in the dishwasher with a non-lemon soap although we are using a citrus scented brand. For perfect care washing by hand and immediate towel drying would be my recommendation. This on sale purchase was a great bargain particularly with the inclusion of the wooden storage tray and large serving spoon and fork."
