"Pneumatic Caulking Gun" Date: 8/15/2006
"Recently purchased this item as a replacement for one I had years ago that a friend borrowed and never returned. This model is made of metal and appears to be much more durable than the previous plastic one I had. Caulked my daughter and son-in-law's new house that is nearing completion. Used 24 tubes of caulk in 2 days without any problem. The best part is my wrist is not worn out squeezing the handle on a mechanical gun. Also, the application is much more controlled and uniform than a mechanical unit. The only way to apply caulking!"

"great tool" Date: 12/1/2005
"I agree ... best spent 15 bucks. Wish I had bought it years ago. I also agree that it is very agressive .... now I cut smaller openings on my tubes which in return dispenses at slower rates."

"It's fast!" Date: 5/24/2005
"The product performs as required. And it sure is fast; almost too fast. You can burn through a 10 oz tube of caulk in about 10-15 seconds if you're not careful. Even if you are careful, 30 seconds is all you need. (I wish I could have found one for the 1 quart size... You feel like you are always changing cartridges). You will need to set the regulator lower on your compressor to limit the pressure for this thing to get a smooth consistent bead - I like 60 psig. Unit has no directions. Good thing it is pretty intuitive. Unscrew the cap and drop in the tube then replace the cap and sqeeze the trigger (carefully). Although the body looks like plastic in the photo, it is a die cast metal. Price is comparable to the middle to higher end hand caulking guns - well worth it in my opinion. Update-------- After 3 months of heavy use, it still performs great. By FAR, it has been the best $15 I spent on tools in a long time!"
