"Different angles on each side"

"I have this jig. It is asymmetrical. I can't just turn the knife and jig over to sharpen the second side. The DVD shows it being done that way, but if I set one side to 25 degrees, it puts about an impossible angle on the other side of the blade. It works well if you are willing to unmount, turn over, and remount every blade you are sharpening. I am very disappointed with this design. And it is thick enough that for small pocket knives it just doesn't work. The thickness of the clamp gets in the way and hits the grinding wheel."

"Ah sharp knives..."

"This jig worked perfect for all my kitchen knives. From the 12" chef knife to the steak knives. The finish\casting of the jig wasn't top quality, thus the 4 rating. But it doesn't seem to impact the quality of the sharpening."
