"It's KitchenAid, it's great stuff!" Date: 7/16/2007
"I read one reviewer who near complained that this spoon was too big. No, it's a basting spoon. I found it to be the perfect size. As with my other KitchenAid products, this spoon is well made with good balance. Best of it's type I've ever owned."

"To Big and Heavy" Date: 3/18/2006
"The spoon is a nice spoon, of good quality, however, it is way to big and heavy for everyday cooking. Most of my pans are 2 to 5 quart pans and this spoon like it's other matching items, is simply to large and heavy. They are not balanced either. I will be carefull before buying Kitchen Aid again because of this size issue."

"Great basting spoon that doubles as a ladle" Date: 11/17/2002
"This KitchenAid basting spoon has a large enough capacity (4 oz.) to do double duty as a soup/stew ladle -- and that's exactly what it does in my kitchen. It's like having 2 tools in one. I needed a new ladle since my old one had a cracked handle and was wanting to get a new set of cobalt blue KitchenAid utensils anyway to match my KitchenAid mixer. I was a bit disappointed that there was no ladle included in this line of tools, but then realized that the basting spoon had as much capacity as my old ladle. I haven't regretted my purchasing decision -- the spoon is well balanced and wonderful to use with both my non-stick and enameled cast iron cookware and cleans up easily in the dishwasher."
