"We got this flatware along with our new dishes and are extremely happy with it. As some of the other reviewers have mentioned these utensils are solid, you can feel it as soon as you pick them up. They have nice balance and they have strength (Neo would have a tough time bending this spoon). The included serving utensils are just as nice and just as sturdy. The brushed steel has a soft satin look and feel to it and the pieces are nicely shaped. I never really liked the intricate, grandma style flower patterns that my mom always had on her silverware, which makes me like these even more. We use these every day and I have to say I feel a bit spoiled, while they wont be the most expensive pieces of flatware you ever use, I have gotten used to them and tend notice how flimsy most silverware is now. They are simple, elegant, sturdy and worth the money."

"this flatware is sturdy enough to scoop ice cream or mix a jar of separated peanut butter without bending, but pretty enough to use when guests come around. we use this flatware everyday and got another set to have in the cupboard for holidays, etc. the only thing keeping me from giving it 5 stars is that, because it has a brushed look, you can scratch the surface. otherwise, it's perfect!"
