"This was a gift for my son, who requested it for Christmas. He was very excited to get this mitt and says it can withstand heat up to 160 degrees I believe. I would like one for myself."

"No more singed, unclean or burned oven mitts. Excellent gripping power. Easy to clean, therefore no more dirty mitts between regular washings. I did some testing myself. Placed glove, with my hand inside it, in boiling water. I did feel some warmth, however I discovered I had more protection from the boiling water than I thought possible. I also use it when I'm barbecuing and it's great. Received my first mitt as a gift and have purchased additional mitts for myself and as gifts for others. Highly recommend purchasing the Orka silicone oven mitt."
