"We owned the original Le Creuset wok with matching metal lid and used it quite often for many years until the handle broke. It then became a little more difficult to use so our stir fry cooking took a back seat for about 6 months. Yes, we did procrastinate returning the wok to Le Creuset but extremely glad they did not... we had a replacement wok back in less than 5 weeks! No muss, no fuss, and a very pleasant exchange from start to finish. We have quite a few Le Creuset pots, frying pans, stoneware, etc... items and never had cause to return any but it's nice to know they stand behind their warranty when needed. BTW, they sent the newer version of the wok with the glass lid when they could have just sent the original metal lid back... nice touch! Quality, looks and a great warranty, what more can you ask for? ...and yes, we're back to stir frying a lot more often!"

"I have used this wok on a flat top range for 6 months now - it is great. Does not stick, easy to clean, nice to look at. It is large so I hang it on a dual coat hook in the kitchen - which works great...."

"I've had a Le Creuset Wok for over 5 years, from the time when the lids were matching metal, not glass. I've cooked hundreds of meals in this wok. The cooking surface is outstanding - heats evenly (hotter at the bottom of course) and cleans easily. I usually clean without soap to maintain the cooking surface and avoid rust, as you would with any cast iron pan. We have an electric cook top and the wok works great sitting on the electric coil - and you can move it right to the table to serve from if you're dining casually. Needless to say we've had no problem with cracked handles. But these are large and you've got to have the available storage space!"

"When we received this beautiful wok we opened the box and the handle was broken...it was laying next to the wok.We sent it back and asked for a replacement but they were out of the color 'flame' at that time so we just got a refund. There must be some type of weakness in the handles on these woks...So beware."
