"I have used two of these units for a number of years on my Corvettes and other vehicles during winter storage (over four months). I have never had to disconnect the batteries from the car electronics, and have never had a battery failure or overcharge. I love the monitoring lights to let me know things are okay. I can't find any cons, and if I had to make one of these, I would have done it just like they did. Well worth the ~~$[...]."
