"We received this saucier as a wedding gift from a friend, and she really knew what she was doing when she bought this pan! The heat distribution on this thing is incredible, so you don't get the typical "hot" and "cold" spots as you would with cheaper cookware. The weight is substantial, but not too much even for a petite person such as me to handle, lift, or hand wash. The little vent hole in the lid is a nice touch, and the colors (we have flame) will really brighten things up around your kitchen. It is well worth the money to purchase this pan, especially since it has a 101 year warranty."

"This is a great sauce pan. I made the best spanish rice in it, moist and silky, not too wet and not too dry. cooked evenly, and love the vent in the lid. The only drawback is that it is heavy compared to other pans. I aso love the versatile color. I will continue adding to my collection of Le Crueset."
