"I bought the referb set on sale for $400. Excellent tools. Circ saw takes a normal size blade which is nice. I'm going to have to say the case dosen't give me a problem like some other people. It is marked what tool goes where and closes on the first or second try. I'm glad I have a case where the tools don't bounce around. If you need power and a long run time for your tools, this is the set to get. I have the L-ion Makita set as well, which is a little lighter and has led lights for dark areas. I'd recommend either set."

"Much to my surprise (after seeing the price) my normaly rather cheap boss bought this kit for a large comercial remodel we were doing. On the jobsite this is the kit everyone wants to use instead of dragging a cord around and if your using it you have to keep your eye on it or it will grow legs. Exept for the ocasional battery charge (can be a problem if two people are using seperate tools, there are only two batteries) it functions just like normal corded tools power wise. Allthough the hammer drill is only good for light duty concrete drilling. I can't really compair it to other lithium kits because I haven't used any of the other ones. The things I really don't like about it, and the thing that everyone complains about is the case! If you haven't ever put the thing back in it's case before it can take guys like 10 minutes of fiddling to get it to close, everything has to be in the EXACT right place and position! It is a real pain and seems like a $10 case for an $800 kit. That and the batteries are sometime difficult to engage."
