"I programmed this product as per the instructions and it did not work. However, I tried reversing the dip switches ( up is down and down is up) and the programming worked. One would assume that when the numbers on the dip switches are right side up, that the switch is right side up, not necessarily true. The device works great and except for that one little glitch, it was very easy to program and works well. What a convenient device. it saves me from running in the house or needing car keys when I am working outside and need to get into the garage."

"I've used the CLK1 remote garage access product for a couple of years and have had to replace the unit three times because it simply stopped working. I've unsuccesfully tried following the instructions to get failed units working again. Because the instructions are so poorly written, it's easy to wonder if you're following the instructions properly. However, after reading all of the reviews about this product, it's clear to me that both the instructions and the underlying product are bad. I strongly discourage anyone from buying this product."

"This probably works great with the proper door opener. The only problem is that when I bought the opener from Amazon it was bundled with this remote. But since the door opener was made after 2005 it wouldn't work. I don't know if Amazon has corrected this on their site, but beware. To be fair to Amazon they did refund my purchase price, but who needs that hassle."

"Purchased at Home Depot - same as shown here, but may have had a slightly different number. Easy to install. Easy to spray paint cover - comes in beige only. Easy to code. One item - once you enter your code, and the garage door opens, and you then hit any number on the key pad, it will close the garage door (without putting in the proper code that was programmed). I think it needs 30 seconds to clear out the first entry. Other than that, it has worked fine (have had about 2 to 3 weeks). "
