"Top portion of pot is not well attached to base; after a few months use they separated, had to glue them back together. The advertised "glass" bubble on top is made of plastic, broke off soon after the base separated. Probably costs them a couple of bucks each to manufacture these pots in China, then they sell for $50."

"First, I'm a real coffee hound, and very fussy about my coffee...use a lot of different blends and brands just for fun. Short learning curve if you've not used a percolator b/f or for a while; works better with the lid on the basket, for instance, ha,ha! Also, I lost the coffee measure when I opened the box...hope it turns up someday. Uses more coffee per cup (I think) than my old so-called 10 cup drip, and took me 3 pots to resolve that issue. Once I did, tho, what a STUPENDOUS cup of coffee! Rich, full-bodied and all that stuff."

"Makes Good coffee. Makes Good coffee Quick. That's all I need. Very Happy. BUT, My cat knocked my PRC-4 off the shelf. Fell about 5 feet to the floor. Still made quick coffee, but very weak. Ordered another one from Amazon. Number 2 made coffee quick, but too weak to drink. Same coffee, Same bottled water, Same amount of water and coffee. Doesn't seem to percolate long enough. Now have about a hundred dollars of watering pots."
