| "Had it a while, finally reviewing; pretty good unit" |

"OK, I've had this a while now (9 months?) and I finally am writing this. Overall, pretty good unit.
Cons:
1. sometimes the motor sounds funny, like it is vibrating, other times it doesn't sound like it's working at all, sometimes it seems to be working/cycling just fine. Actually, I don't see any improvement in cooking time, as baking seems to take just as long as with a conventional toaster oven. And the temperature? I don't know if it works right, I just set everything on 450 degrees (i.e. potatoes).
2. the baking tray does not even fit properly. you have to grab it with an oven mit to get it out, as it jams in there. Not with the tool they give you, but an oven mit. really strange.
3. toast, mostly what I do: toasts more on the bottom, but not too bad, just SLOW compared to what I'm used to. this is probably because the tray has to be placed on the low position, since it will be upside down if you place it in the more natural middle/high slot. you won't be able to slide the toast out in that position, you'll have to lift it, and i got tired of getting burned.
4. glass stains easily and have not been able to get stains off it (no idea what it is but nothing too unusual).
The lights, sounds, menu, volume levels, etc. seem OK once you get used to them.
Wonder why they don't sell them in stores? the non-convection oven is findable. the price seemed to change weekly on Amazon, eventually got it with free shipping for around $80? Maybe $90, can't remember. i recommend the unit.
