"The kettle has a very nice solid design. The handle does get hot, but it not hot enough that I would need to use a pot holder. The water pours out nicely; I haven't experienced any water splashing yet. The lid stays on firmly when close. The whistle is loud. I got a stainless steel one, and I am very please with my purchase."

"I love this tea kettle. It whistles (very loudly) to let me know the water is ready. I've kept all tea kettles I've previously owned on the stove when not in use. And when you cook, it tends to pick up every splatter! This tea kettle is very easy to clean and looks just like new! I love it and would definitely purchase again!"
