"I actually purchased two different sets plus extra baskets. Then laid it all out to fit the unusually shaped walk in closet in my new (old) house. The Rubbermaid system is great. It went in easily, is extremely flexible and very strong. I love the way our closet turned out. It took about six hours from start to finish. Our closet is 100 inches long, 78 inches wide, one side is 90 inches tall, the other side is 75 inches tall. The flexibility of the sets made it possible to get exactly the kind of layout that I wanted. The sliding baskets are wonderful and hold lots of stuff. One word of warning, though. Put together drawers and divided boxes are also available. I don't recommend them at all. The drawers are too small to be very useful. They are very tedious to put together, too."

"OK, these Rubbermaid Configuration components are fantastic. I have put 6' 'uprights' in my garage on 16" centers (on the joints, fasted with lag bolts), on all three walls... This means that the entire garage from about 4' up is shelving. All my power equipment, screws, nails, quite possibly a ton of this stuff (literally) is hanging, solidly on the walls... The regular types of shelving units would never work, but these Rubbermaid components are terrific! HOWEVER, what idiot at Rubbermaid made 2' long shelves??? Unless I am simply misreading the specs, you'd have to put the uprights on 2' centers. Therefore you could only get the security of a 'stud' on one side. NO THANK YOU. I want the shelves in my home to be able to handle all the gold bars that I can stack on them - if only in my dreams. "

"I needed a small additional shelving and hanging area to go on a 4' wall -- I used this -- and it was perfect because I could create two 24" areas versus one 4' and stack the items vertically. Unlike the previous reviewers, I read the description where it says what's in the box - ordered 10 extensions off ebay for $4.00 a piece and have been nothing but happy with this unit. As long as you read, you'll be very happy with the product. "

"Just like the prior review, I saw the picture and thought this was a 4 ft closet system. However, It does not include the hanger nor uprights. Its just two shelves and a rod. Worthless to me!"
