"Great AC unit."
Date:
8/9/2007
"This unit works great and extra support brackets are not needed. Two possible small problems that can be avoided. One, pay attention to the fact that there is special power needs for this. You most likely will have to upgrade breakers, wires and plugs to run this. Second, just take the free delivery! I paid the for three to five day delivery. Once they mailed it took longer than that because of size and weight. Early shipping allowed it to meet the quoted time but the delivery time was off. Save your money."

"Wrong Power Plug!"
Date:
7/23/2007
"I also had the same problem as the previous reviewer. The plug for this model is a 15Amp/230Volt which is not a standard household outlet. The Frigidaire manuals are deceiving because the images depicted in them show standard 110 outlets. I cannot say anything about the actual performance of this unit however, it may very well be a great product."

"Requires 240 volts and lots of patience"
Date:
7/11/2007
"After spending 4 hours assembling the various bits and pieces of trim we discovered the electric plug was quite odd. Took some research to find out this is a 240 unit! You need to look at the manufacturers web site, download their pdf marketing brochure and thumb through to page 13 to find that out. A real downer. User manual also written by first grade dropouts."
