"After a fair amount of research, I decided to buy this panini maker for our family, as we have all recently gotten hooked on paninis. While I do wish that the grill plates themselves were detachable for easier cleaning, we are very happy with this product so far. Using regular loaf bread, you can make two sandwiches at a time. I also used this on a pita sandwich, and it worked great there too. It seems like a very sturdy product, and we anticipate a lot of use in the future."

"We have been using this model for a montha now and we love it! It cooks panins perfectly. It seems to be at the perfect temp as it produces a nicely toasted and thoroughly heated panini without burning. The top plate is heavy enough to compress the panini nicely and the grill ridges are very closely spaced that produces a classic panini. I almost gave it four stars because there are minor flaws in the build qualiy (Yea the indicator lights are a little difficult to read) but for 35$ who cares when you just wait five mins for it to heat up and get a perfect panini."

"We have been very pleased and impressed with the Breadman TR456 Panini Maker. We have used it for bread and sandwiches, and it performed as expected. We also tried grilling fish in it and were extremely pleased with the results. I really like the simplicity of it! No controls, no settings, just plug and go. The two lights were a bit too refractive in that it was difficult to tell if a light was on, depending on the viewing angle. This specific panini maker was recommended by a friend, with the note that it developed more heat than others (including the George Foreman grill)."
