"I got these as a shower gift. They were exactly what I was looking for. I have these dishes at work so I already knew about the quality and durability. These will be my new 'everyday' dishes. And its so awesome that it comes with the platter and a service for 8 people! At this price, it can't be beat. I love the weight of the dishes, so light and yet, so durable. I can't wait to use them. I only wish the mugs were made of the same material, because those WILL break if dropped, not that I've experimented or anything. Other than that, its really a perfect set."

"I have corelle Livingware in my kitchen, my guest house and I purchesed a set for each of my children when they moved out. They work in the microwave and dishwasher. They are not fragile and yet they are very pretty."

"Makes cleaning easy"

"I love Corelle!!! I managed to burned some chicken nuggets in one of the bowls. The smell of smoke was just horrible and the bowl was completely black. I thought for sure that I had lost the bowl. Before throwing the bowl away, I decided to try to save it, I just put warm water and soap and left if sitting on the counter for a couple of days. To my surprise, with a little bit of scrubbing the bowl was saved. It looked completely brand new and no trace of smoke smell or the black color. These plates and bowls are extremely durable, stylish and also affordable."
