"For almost 30 years, my wife would frequenly have to run back home to check if she turned off our old coffee maker. So when it died, I decided that an automatic shut-off was essential. Not only does this Braun have that, but it makes excellent coffee, and in a very compact package. You will not be disappointed!!"

"I made my purchase based on the good reviews I read, and they are true. I had an older Braun that had a broken carafe, so I decided to just go ahead and purchase this newer model. After using it for a month, I am very pleased. The coffee tastes really good, and it is very easy to clean. The water filter and coffee filter are nice additions, but I don't use either. I use my own filtered water, and the paper filters are just easier to clean. The water level marks on the exterior make it very easy to fill (my old one had them inside the fill tank and they were hard to see). The auto shut off is a life saver, because I am easily distracted and forgetful sometimes. All in all, a very solid purchase, and I am very pleased."

"Perked coffee is my favorite but too much trouble for two or three cups of coffee a day. This Braun model is the next best thing and I've tried many coffeemakers, including other Braun models. It's fast, it's HOT, and it tastes great (I do use a premium quality coffee bean). I researched many models and took into account the negatives listed here by some reviewers. Leaves me wondering if perhaps Braun re-designed this coffeemaker to overcome some problems. No complaints here."
