"the bowls are a pretty color and lightweight which is nice for lifting and pouring. my only complaint (and you will probably think i am crazy) is that when using a metal utensil to stir the ingredients, the metal against the hard plastic makes a very loud sound. i have other plastic bowls, but i guess it's a different plastic so i don't have the same problem. still though, they're nice bowls and most sane people probably won't have an issue with the noise they make. it would be cool if they had lids!"

"I would give these bowls 6 stars if I could! My mother-in-law gave me these as a gift and they are fantastic. I love them because they are lightweight (a lifesaver when you're pouring a batter into a pan) and the built-in handle makes them easy to hold onto. The pouring spout is another perk. They are perfectly sized too (I mix cakes in the smallest and party-size pasta salads in the medium one). They are dishwasher-safe but I hand wash them because I worry that the rubber base (another bonus) might get funky. They just plain feel good in your hand and I think they'd be great for someone with carpal tunnel or arthritis who can't be lugging around heavy glass or ceramic bowls. I've had lots of mixing bowls over the years and I'd recommend these to anyone in the market for durable, user-friendly, really cute, cheerful mixing bowls."
